Kenya Camping Safaris |

A camping safari or staying in small private mobile camps is one of the best ways to experience Kenya 's natural attractions. The safaris have been designed to include a variety of habitats so that the widest diversity of wildlife can be seen. The camps are sited in private conservancies so that walking and night drives may be taken but are also conveniently located for easy access to Amboseli and Nakuru national parks and the Mara. |

Transport is by four-wheel-drive Toyota Land cruiser with roof hatches. Your driver-guide is a wildlife and nature expert and member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association.
A safari cook travels with the entourage. At each camp site we will have staff that does the work like washing up, heating water for showers, doing the cooking and serving the food but clients also help put up and take down their tents.
Equipment is carried in a trailer behind the vehicle - when in camp the trailer is removed and game drives are done in the vehicle. Tents are heavy-duty canvas dome tents for 2 persons. Clients bring their own sleeping bag and a towel but all other camp furniture and equipment is provided. Food is of the same quality as in a luxury camp - produced by our experienced safari cook- and is included in the price, (not bought through a "kitty" like some other camping safaris). Camps are set up on our own exclusive campsites. Drinks other than mineral water are not included. |

Day 1. Nairobi - Baringo |
0930hrs leave Nairobi for Lake Baringo . Picnic lunch en route .on arrival at Lake Baringo in the afternoon, set up camp.dinner and overnight. |
Day2: Baringo - Mararal - South horr |
0700hrs.after breakfast leave Baringo for Maralal.picnic lunch en-route. A walk after lunch through the most colorful town. Proceed to Baringo via Mararal, which is on the edge of the Great Rift Valley . Dinner and overnight at south horr. |
Day3: South horr - Lake Turkana |
0730hrs after breakfast leave south horr for Lake Turkana arriving in time for lunch at El molo campsite, which is on the shore of Lake Turkana . Rest of the day at leisure by the jade sea. Dinner and overnight |
Day4: L.Turkana |
After breakfast visit at the El molo village. Return to the campsite for lunch. After at leisure, fishing or fishing if or swimming if the crocodiles permit. Meals and overnight at the campsite. |
Day5: L.Turkana - Mararal |
0900hrs.after breakfast, leave Turkana for marital. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at mararal |
Day6: Mararal - Samburu |
0830hrs: After break fast leave mararal for Samburu game reserve. On arrival proceed to the campsite and thereafter proceed for a late evening game drive. Retuning to the camp for dinner and overnight. |
Day7: Samburu |
0630hrs.earlry morning pre breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. 100hrs. after breakfast further game drive. Lunch 1600hrs after lunch a third game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. |
Day 8: Samburu - M t Kenya - Nairobi |
0800hrs after breakfast leave Samburu for naromoru river lodge (picnic lunch). Drop off clients who want to climb Mt.Kenya. After lunch leave for Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon. |
